Pevisión sensorial del vehiculo correspondiente a su parte Exterior, Interior, Elementos para producir ruido, Alumbrado y señalización, Salidas de de Frenos, Suspensión, Dirección, Rines y Llantas, Combustible y Transmisión. Todo basado en los en la Norma Técnica Colombiana NTC5375. Emergencia, Sistema Motor, Sistema de parámetros establecidos.
Inspección mecanizada para establecer el nivel de ruido producido por el vehiculo.
Inspección Mecanizada de luces altas y bajas, para determinar la intensidad y la Inclinación de las luces del vehiculo, y establecer su cumplimiento con referencia a lo establecido en la Norma Técnica Colombiana N T C 5 3 7 5 .

Revisión Técnico Mecánica
La Revisión Técnico Mecánica y de emisiones contaminantes es una evaluación de la conformidad de un vehículo automotor en uso, con respecto a los requisitos especificados en la NTC Norma Técnica Colombiana 5375 y en los requisitos legales aplicando procesos de inspección sensorial y mecanizada. Vehículo de Transporte Público Terrestre como resultado de la Revisión Técnico Mecánica se entrega el certificado y el Formato uniforme de resultados si el vehículo sale aprobado, en caso contrario se entrega el Formato Uniforme de Resultados con los datos técnicos requeridos para corregir el incumplimiento de la Norma.

¿Qué es el Soat?
Es un instrumento de protección para todas las víctimas de accidentes de tránsito, orientado a cubrir las lesiones o muerte de personas que están involucradas en un accidente de tránsito, independiente de quién tuvo la culpa en el evento, es decir, cada pasajero de un vehículo será atendido con cargo a la póliza que respalda ese vehículo. La atención se presta a todas las personas involucradas en el accidente y que pueden ser el conductor, acompañantes o peatones.

La Revisión Preventiva es una evaluación de la conformidad de un Vehiculo de Transporte Publico Terrestre, con respecto a los requisitos especificados en la NTC Norma Técnica Colombiana 5375 y en los requisitos legales, aplicando procesos de inspección sensorial y mecanizada, para cumplir la Resolución.
Número 0378 de 2.013.
